Amaryllis is the Christmas flower staple for every coffee table.

Every year I want an Amaryllis. You know, the class red flower that is forced into bloom in thousands of homes accross the globe. You know the type...watching Martha Stewart (or IS Martha Stewart), has a housekeeper, no little children, nothing better to do than to spend time messing with a plant all year just so it can bloom in the winter time. No offense if this is you. But I currently love the Amaryllis and do not have time to mess with it. Thank goodness there are now really good looking arrangements these days that we can buy. And after Christmas, pack it up with the wreaths, blown glass ornaments, and blinking lights. This is the one I found that looks beautiful.

This would make a great gift for the gift exchanges, for the decorator at heart, and for those who have those pristine decorated to a T house, or those that just want an easy to keep Amaryllis. Yes, Im a master gardener, but God doesn't help me water my indoor plants. :)
